Congratulations to Senior Jessica for receiving a 4.0 on her first report card! Jessica has been recognized for the fourth time as a distinguised scholar at Tallmadge High School. Last year, Jessica received the "Most Outstanding Italian II Student" award. Jessica plans to continue her education at either Kent State or Akron University studying computer science. Way to go Jessica!

Alex recently performed in his school's second grade spring concert. Alex did a great job singing and dancing with his classmates- and even participated with bells in a song with only 3 other children.

Christopher R.'s illustrated short story won first place in the 2001 Literary Contest of Wayne, Holmes, and Ashland counties.

Alex graduated from the Reading Readiness Computer Program in his first grade computer class.

Clay R. participated in a therapeutic horseback riding class provided by NO BOUNDRIES in Wooster. The children learn to ride horses and care for them.

Vera C. graduated from high school and is now attending Kent State University where she is studying fashion design.

Christopher R. took 3rd place ribbon at Wayne County Fair for a pencil drawing he did in art class. He won in the 12th grade category and he is only in 9th grade!

Christopher R. was asked to be an escort for Homecoming Court at Rittman High School.

Hallie K. started preschool, dance lessons, and gymnastic classes...all in the same week! Hallie was the first child out of ten in her dance class to do a split! She earned a specialsticer and hadher name posted on the bulletin board.

Erich K. and Gina L. each had a drawing chosen for the AVI Christmas cards. These christmas cards will be available at the Auditory Verbal International website.

Raber and Dieter H. participated in the demonstration part of Judy Simser's lecture! They did a great job with 200 people watching them.

Congratulations to Joey L. for getting straight A's on his report card.

Natural Communication, Inc. congratulates Vera C. on her recent National History and Government Award. Vera received the highest grade in her Principles of Democracy class. Vera and five other students were invited to a luncheon at Tangiers where the speaker was former Governor Voinovich. Keep up the good work, Vera!

Chris P. was honored by the Lincoln Way SERRC with the R.A. Horn Outstanding Acheivement Award in Academics on April 16, 1999. Chris was also treated to a luncheon with Slider, the mascot of the Cleveland Indians.

Kristina is now a member of the Daisy Scouts.

Christopher R. was chosen to be a volunteer for two days at the NEC World Championship of Golf at Firestone. His responsibilities include wearing a headset that relayed the scores to him which he then changed on a manual leader board. He also used his listening skills as a counselor for the 6th Grade Outdoor Education trip. Chris was responsible for leading the students to their outdoor sessions and making sure they remained in their cabins after lights out.

Mark won a scholarship to St. Vincent-St. Mary's School

Christopher G. is the manager of the Hoban High School basketball team.

Stacey is a co-editor of The Potpourri and is co-webmaster of The Wooster Voice, a newspaper at the College of Wooster. She also won a college scholarship from AG Bell, and two academic/achievement scholarships from the College of Wooster.
